My name is Katie VanderWeide, and I am passionate about helping women in transition find inner stability, confidence and freedom.

Life transitions can feel overwhelming, isolating and full of questions. I provide a warm, non-judgmental space for women to process change, explore identity, and cultivate self-trust. Whether you’re navigating motherhood, marriage, loss, or spiritual shifts, our work together can help you find clarity, steadiness, and renewed confidence.

  • Going through a spiritual or religious deconstruction is a fundamental change to your identity. Whether you need a space to process religious trauma, explore existentialism or new ways of organizing the world- I offer a warm, safe, and open environment for you to grieve, explore, and rebuild.

  • Encountering a death of any kind- whether that is the loss of a loved one, a divorce or breakup, or loss of previous identity/way of being- is a deeply painful experience.

Hi! I’m Katie

And I know that finding a therapist can be a scary or stressful thing to have on your to-do list. Usually people seek therapy during vulnerable or anxious times of their lives- so the fact that you are taking steps to take care of your inner and outer world through therapy is a beautiful thing!

My Approach

I have a warm and non-judgmental approach to therapy. I often finding myself laughing, crying, or being silent with my clients when words fail. Through the therapeutic relationship and tailored approaches, we create the bedrock of your healing: a feeling of safety and belonging in your body. From there, we can explore your inner world, become curious about how we often get in our own way, and start to create the life you deeply desire (and deserve!)
